Australia is known for being such an attractive country for tourists. They are certainly not slowing down anytime in the future. It would be a cool idea to go here while you are still young. There are loads to do and sights to see. You may even meet a nice local who will show you around town. Australia is not that big but there are many places to explore. Here are the best places to travel in Australia:

1. Sydney

Bondi Beach is famous all over the world. There are so many people that you will quickly realize how crowded it is while you are there. It gets pretty cold here during some parts of the year so better go there. Aside from that, there is also the Sydney Opera House where you can enter at a premium price. Most tourists would rather take a picture of themselves with the Opera House in the background. It makes better sense since there is not much to see inside it. There is also Manly Beach which is just a boat ride away. There is even Chinatown where there is some cheap food finds. You would need a card so you can ride all the buses and trains in Sydney though.

2. Melbourne

The most touristy thing to do in Melbourne would be to visit the Brighton Boxes. They are a bunch of dressing rooms that were decorated pretty nicely. You won’t even notice how fast time flies while you are taking a picture in front of all these beauties. There is a tram in Melbourne that you can actually ride for free. There is also Queen Victoria Market that has some European food finds. In fact, there is a lot of nice food finds there so better leaves a lot of space in your tummy. Better come there early too as there are a lot of people that usually go there especially if it is the weekend.

3. Fraser Island

There are many tour agencies that offer tour packages of this famous island. You can even drive an automobile around the island. There is also a beach there where you can take a swim. There are several lodges but it would be more advisable to camp because it is a lot cheaper. In fact, the longer you stay there, the more you will enjoy the vacation. It is like a dream come true and you will also meet some fellow travelers. It would be great to get some tips from them regarding what to do and where to stay for the rest of your Australia trip.

4. Whitsundays Island

It is a far island from Airlie beach. You have the option to do overnight at a boat or do a day trip going there. Either way, you are going to have a lot of fun because the island is spectacular. There is a view from the top that you will cherish every moment. When you go down to the beach, it is a great sight too. You are going to love every moment when you are there. Depending on the season, it is going to get a bit dizzy on the way to the island. You are going to barf at some point so better drink your meds before the trip. If you do get dizzy, there is a toilet at the boat anyway as it won’t be wise to barf at the sea as that won’t be good for the sea creatures.

5. Kangaroo Island

Most families who go to Australia would want to see kangaroos. Most locals would say this is the best place to see it. It is pretty normal to see kangaroos hopping around the island like it was their territory. Fortunately for them, there is a reason why the island was named after them. They are not locked in cages but rather they are free to go anywhere they please.

It is no secret you should book a long stay in Australia. There are so many places to go there. You may need to set aside a huge budget though because the prices there are pretty high compared to other countries. Good thing, it will be worth every penny because you will have a lot of fun.
